This brand identity design B2B project documents the construction of Peroni Ruggero Srl’s entire visual system: from scratch to a consistent identity across all corporate touchpoints, from digital to international trade show print materials.

B2B Brand Identity Design: Context

When I joined Peroni Ruggero, the company had no consistent visual identity system. Every communication material was produced independently, with no shared guidelines.
The logo was used in unauthorised variants, colours were inconsistent between digital and print, and there was no reference brand book. The result was fragmented visual communication — unprofessional for a company addressing international buyers in the luxury packaging sector.

The challenge

Building a visual identity from scratch — functional for both the Italian and international market — in a sector where the perception of quality and precision is fundamental. The luxury packaging industry demands high visual standards: Peroni Ruggero’s clients are international luxury brands that evaluate suppliers also by the quality of their communication.

The approach

I designed and produced the entire visual system: logo in all usage variants, colour palette, typography, complete brand book, business cards, product brochures (Rigid Boxes, Diaries & Notebooks), corporate calendar, and trade show stand materials.

All materials were designed for both digital and print use, with Italian and English versions. The brand book defines logo usage rules, institutional colours (with Pantone, CMYK and HEX values), typography and layout grids. Every material was produced in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, with print-ready files for external print suppliers.

The result

A consistent visual system across all corporate touchpoints, in use from 2020 to the present. Trade show materials were exhibited at Print4All and Drupa in front of international luxury packaging buyers. Visual consistency helped position Peroni Ruggero as a reliable, high-quality supplier in the international market.

What I learned

In industrial B2B, visual identity is not just aesthetics — it is a signal of reliability. A company with consistent visual communication conveys order, precision and professionalism: qualities that are essential when selling to international luxury brands.

Building B2B brand identity requires starting from real-world needs: where the logo is used (digital, print, embroidery on clothing), which formats are required (vertical, horizontal, monochrome), who uses it (marketing, sales, production). The brand book answers all these questions unambiguously.

Working with external print suppliers added a layer of complexity: every file had to meet technical print requirements (bleeds, colour profiles, image resolution). This experience sharpened my understanding of the production process from concept to physical print.

The project was produced with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, with files delivered in PDF/X format ready for professional printing.
